When Erin and James (mommy and daddy) arrived at my studio with 8 day old Callum, they brought along a few items to personalize their session, including their beloved dog Cleo. I absolutely love this idea and always welcome items, props and extended family to customize treasured photographs.
James talked about how excited he was to someday be able to take Callum fishing and to share the hobby that he loved. The carefully packed reels and flies were ones that obviously he held dear to his heart, some being passed down through generations in his family. It wasn’t until they were leaving, when they both reached out to shared a tight hug with me, that I really realized just how significant and meaningful these memories and photographs become.
